iPad Insurance and How the Future of the iPad in the School System is Just a Matter of Time

New users of the iPad have always asked "why didn't Apple put a camera on the iPad like what they did in the iPhone?" That may seem to be a very obvious question and if you don't ponder for a while and really try to see how deep the rabbit hole goes, you might judge these Apple engineers of not really being intelligent about the features they should have put in the iPad design. But on the contrary, it may just be the other side around. Just think about it for a sec. If the iPad were to have a camera, do you know of some institutions that would not allow cameras inside their premises? Like in an exclusive sports club or a gym, they usually don't allow cameras there. Certain businesses are prohibiting their employees from bringing their cameras with them to work as it may be used to take sensitive and classified images. And lastly, can you remember the recent news about a college professor nabbed by the FBI for allegedly spying on his students using his digital camera?

So if the iPad had had a built in camera, its access and potential use to so many establishments will be greatly hindered and making it like a over sized version of an iPod touch. But indeed these geniuses at Apple have foreseen it and it is very likely that this "subtle" move may have something to do with the vision of Apple to bring the iPad to school therefore lessening the bulk of school text books requiring or giving students the option to use eBooks and digital text books instead.

When the time does come, this new generation of tech savvy college students will never experience the painful way of researching and writing their thesis, because they will have the power of technology at the tip of their fingertips. Just imagine using a tablet like Apple iPad in school where all words in the eBooks you read can be hyperlinked and indexed and be able to browse instantly in the internet to see the definition of a specific word, or search a term that you might have read before but cant remember what particular chapter you have read it. You can now just search the word, and your handy school gadget will do the job.

It is also important to mention that having the right iPad insurance when you buy your iPad is also very important. In the event your teenager loses or even worst, get his or her iPad stolen, if that gadget had Apple iPad insurance you will just apply for a claim and the insurance company will replace your stolen iPad. So get your student the iPad, get it proper iPad insurance protection and get your child studying with more excitement than ever.

How to Open Up the Apple iPad Closed Loop System

Although the Apple iPad is a great piece of kit and we all love it, one of the common drawbacks is that it is a closed-loop device. So what do we mean by closed-loop? Well, there are no expansion slots so getting data on or off your iPad is very tricky. Although the Apple iPad is a great piece of kit and we all love it, one of the common drawbacks is that it is a closed-loop device. So what do we mean by closed-loop? Well, there are no expansion slots so getting data on or off your iPad is very tricky.

This is where the iPad Camera Connection Kit comes in. Yes, I know we are paying another ?25 or so to get what we now expect to be standard functionality, but in essence if you want to transfer data like how you would expect with an SD card reader, then the iPad Camera Connection Kit is an essential iPad Accessory.

The iPad Camera Connection Kit essentially connects to your Apple iPad, using the standard Apple Connector and has back end connectors: the first being a USB connector and the other being a SD card slot. To ensure that that the iPad Camera Connection operates properly it is essential you connect the USB cable (with the other end connected to your data device, for example your camera), once this is done the Photo Application is automatically loaded and provides you with the option to transfer data, for example images to your Apple iPad. The process should be completed in a matter of seconds, but again will depend upon the amount of data and the number of photos and images that you may have.

When you are uploading data using the iPad Camera Connection Kit, data and images can be selected one by one rather than download all of the images and photos at once. What is useful to note is that when your Apple iPad is synchronised to your PC laptop or you Apple Macintosh, the images on your iPad are updated to your image library on your computer - this device really does take all the hard work out of the data transfer.

All the iPad Camera Connection Kit supports all standard photo formats, but essentially it supports the JPEG and RAW image formats. The iPad Camera Connection Kit does also enable the transfer of unspecified data as well.

Final Thoughts

With many applications becoming browser based, the Apple iPad is now becoming a real contender to the standard laptop. However, annoying the Apple iPad does lack data expansion slots and the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kits allows you to easily transfer data and images from various devices using standard SD and USB technology which many of us are used to.

For all of those graphic designers who are now looking to use the iPad as a serious business tool to supplement their Apple kit, I would seriously urge that they get hold of the iPad Camera Connection Kit to improve your overall experience and improve the performance of the Apple iPad device.
