The Original iPad Vs the New iPad 2

Well the iPad 2 has been out for just over a month now, so I thought it was high time for an article comparing the first iPad to the iPad 2, and helping you to see why you should get one yourself.

Let's start with the most obvious feature of both the iPads, the screen, both of the iPads have the same 9.7" LED-backlit IPS LCD screen, so no difference there, with both of them having the same resolution.

Next, the processor, now this is different, the first iPad has a 1GHz Apple A4 processor where as the iPad 2 has a 1 GHz 'Dual-core' Apple A5 processor, which means the speed will be noticeable different, giving you faster load times and being able to deliver better graphics (that's 9x better graphics!) then on the original iPad, so you will be able to play games without any compromise. The iPad has 256MB of DDR RAM, where as the iPad comes with 512MB of DDR2 RAM, which is only going to help improve your speed and experience of the iPad 2

There won't be any change in the storage sizes of the iPads, both of them will still have (the standard) 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions, more than enough space when you are on the go.

There are a few more features which are the same on both iPads, such as both of them have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g and n, EDGE plus triband (iPad 2 has quad band) HSPA and Bluetooth 2.1. The last feature that both of the iPads share is the 3-axis accelerometer, and that's where the similarities end.

Now for the new features that the iPad 2 has, the main new feature that the iPad 2 has that the iPad didn't have, is the 3-axis gyroscope.

As well as this, the iPad 2 has two cameras, one front facing and one rear, the front facing camera is VGA, and the rear camera is 720p, which means that you can now take photos and record videos on the go, the iPad 2 also now supports Face Time, so you can chat to your nearest and dearest on the go.

The thickness of the iPad 2 is just 8.8mm, where as the iPad was 13.4mm, that means that apple managed to shave of a third of the thickness, as well as that, the iPad 2 is lighter, at just 601g, compared to the 680g for the iPad, whilst shaving the weight, Apple have managed to keep the same amazing battery life that the iPad had.

To finish this new iPad 2 launch off, Apple also created a Smart Cover, which was designed alongside the iPad, to make them a perfect match for each other. The iPad smart cover comes in 10 bright colours, including give which are in rich aniline-dyed Italian leather.

That's everything that you need to know about the iPad 2, if that hasn't made you want to buy one, then it may not be for you, but you will be missing out.

Oh, one more thing, from day 1, the free iPad 2 comes in black, and white!

My name is Ryan Brown, I run the website freeiphones4you.co.uk where you can get the latest gadgets for free, such as a free iPhone 5, to a free Xbox 360 and much more. Proven to work by the BBC, CNN, NBC, G4 the gadget show and many more, and their news report videos are on the Website as well, have a look for yourself.

The iPad 2 Official Review: A Sequel That Trumps the Original

Are you about to purchase an iPad 2 and curious as to whether you'll get your money's worth? If so, you've got to hear what the die-hard Apple fans are saying about this brand new revelation in mobile technology. In this review, you'll learn exactly what the iPad 2 has to offer, whether you're a professional, a gamer, an aspiring musician or just a gadget enthusiast.

You'll also be glad to know that you can purchase the iPad 2 without having to pitch a tent and wait in a 24 hour queue outside the Apple store just to get your hands on one.

We'll get to that in a second...

For now, let's talk about the features of the iPad 2 and why people are itching to get their hands on one.

What You'll Notice Right Away About the iPad 2

You might have heard the saying: "It's never as good as the first time," but the technical genius Steven Jobs and his team of ninja programmers have proven that wrong with the creation of the new iPad 2.

The first thing you'll notice about your brand new iPad 2 is its slimmer, sexier, super light weight design. If you're the type of person who wants super fast access to your favorite applications and projects without having to be weighed down by a bulky machine, the iPad 2 is just what the doctor ordered.

It's lightweight, convenient design is equaled only by its screaming processor speed, which leaves the original iPad in the dust, streaming videos, graphics and web pages at nine times the speed as its predecessor. In fact, Josh Ong from Appleinsider claimed that the display for the iPad 2 had an "almost identical performance to the iPhone 4."Best yet, the iPad 2 has the same battery life as the original iPad, making it the perfect solution for working on your projects at your favorite outdoors spot like the beach or the park.

Of course, some techies are still claiming that the camera features still don't match those which are found on some cell phones. Nevertheless, the iPad 2 is the perfect gadget for someone who wants the flexibility and independence of accessing their favorite websites and their projects from anywhere that they please.

The Apple iPad 2 also has some eerily futuristic gaming features could almost be right out of a science fiction novel...

What Makes the iPad 2 a Dream Come True for Even the Most Hard to Impress Gamers

If you thought the iPad was a dream come true for gamers, get ready to fall in love with its superfast, feature rich sequel: the iPad 2. The iPad 2 might just be for Gamers what CGI animation was for movie buffs. Not only does the 900% increase in graphics speed make the speed of the original iPad look like molasses running uphill, its new intelligent features combine the virtual gaming world with the real world.

For example, your physical movements can actually control where your game character is looking or the direction of their attack! Move your iPad 2 down, up or to the left or right, and you can change the direction of your attack! Also, say goodbye to slow loading or response times, the iPad 2's super fast processor speed and graphics delivery makes those a thing of the past.

Are you an aspiring musician or someone who just wants to create their own tunes and share them with friends? If so, just wait until you hear how the iPad 2 delivers an irresistible set of features for making everyone's dream of being a published musician come true...

The iPad 2 Bridges the Talent Gap for Aspiring Musicians

Have you always wanted to create your own music, but didn't have the training and education to make your end product sound like it did in your mind? If so, you'll be blown away by the musical composition features of your new iPad 2.The iPad 2 comes fully equipped with a brand new version of Garage Band, available for only a measly $9.99, which allows you to create multi-track which you can export directly to iTunes!

You have hundreds of instruments including guitars, pianos and virtual drum sets at your fingertips. You can use these instruments to create your own music or to play along with tracks of your favorite songs. Best yet, these instruments can be set to where it's impossible for you to play out of tune, since they're tuned only to the key of your composition.

You can also convert your iPad into an 8-track sampler and use the virtual "dummy proof" instrument features to crank out your own multi-instrument creations. When you're done, simply record them and upload them directly into iTunes. Considering the reasonable price and the portability of the iPad 2, how amazing is it that you can now accomplish what used to take tens of thousands dollars in expensive studio equipment and hours of trial and error to put together?

So now that I've got you salivating over the super-sequel to the original iPad, you're probably wondering how easy it is to get a hold of one at a decent price right?

Some Great News for iPad 2 Enthusiasts: No Waiting

As you're reading this, hundreds of thousands of raving Apple fans are swarming the Apple stores. Some of them are waiting for up to 24 hours just to get their hot little hands on one of these dream machines. In fact, Amanda Foote, a college student from New York who had been waiting in line for over 40 hours to purchase an iPad 2, sold her first spot in the iPad 2 queue for nine-hundred dollars.

The problem is that the Apple stores frequently "run out of stock," a known scarcity strategy which Apple uses to generate more press about their hot new products. If you'd rather purchase your iPad 2 without resorting to spending days living in the parking lot of your local Apple dealer, you'll be glad to know that you can order online and escape the madness.

In summary, the iPad 2 is surely worth the money, and you're going to realize this once you get your hands on one.

iPad 2 Accessories - Will They Mimic Original iPad Bestsellers?

With the announcement of the legendary iPad 2, iPad accessory manufacturers started up their engines and went right to producing accessories that are compatible with the new device. Most of the accessories that were designed for the original iPad will work with the iPad 2, but not the accessories that require a specific size, like iPad cases and stands. All of the external batteries, Bluetooth headsets and chargers will most likely be compatible with your iPad 2.

So what do the accessories being designed and released for the new generation look like? Well, so far, the new iPad 2 cases are just updated versions of some of the most popular cases for the original device! For example, Scosche has already released their best selling GlosSEE Flexible Rubber Case for iPad 2 and, of course, Marware has already been pushing their Eco-Vue Case for iPad 2. The Eco-Vue case was rarely in stock after the original iPad was released!

Here are a few original cases and stands that iPad 2 buyers are hoping manufacturers make for the iPad 2:

1. Zagg ZAGGmate w/Keyboard Hard Case & Stand

This is one of the original iPad cases that made the device the productivity machine it is! This case was raved about by MC Hammer and Oprah and that's part of the reason this case sold like hotcakes. iPad owners love this case because of its minimal thickness, incorporated Bluetooth keyboard and high level of durability. This case would be make an awesome iPad 2 case because it would be even more thin!

2. Otterbox iPad Commuter Series Case

This case was another best seller for the original iPad and iPad 2 owners are waiting for the release of the Otterbox Commuter case for iPad 2. This case did so well for the original version because it provides incredible protection with minimal bulk. The more heavy-duty Otterbox case, the Defender Series, was not liked much by users because it was overly bulky, which made it less functional.

3. Griffin Elan Passport Case

This was another iPad case loved by users. Most users praised it for its ability to act as a wallet (or daytimer) and an iPad case at the same time. It also sold well because of its reasonable price point!

Keep in mind, these new iPad 2 accessories will take a while for manufacturers to produce, especially because Apple announced the device ahead of schedule!
